How Story-Driven Social Media Helped Natchitoches Picnic Co. Grow Foot Traffic & Brand Love
Refreshing a Beloved
Local Brand
Refreshing a Beloved
Local Brand
Laurie Berry and Natchitoches Picnic Co.
launched a fresh new chapter built on Southern charm and shared stories.
Laurie Berry, along with her partner Jimmi, began with porch drops of charcuterie and lemon bars during the pandemic. Fast-forward to a full storefront on Front Street, and it was time for a new chapter. Our challenge? Create a refreshed brand strategy that honored the heart of the business, built local buzz, and brought more feet through the door—without losing the warmth that made it special.
The Challenge
The Challenge
NPC started as a porch delivery service during the pandemic
and quickly became a beloved local brand known for its hospitality, handcrafted meals, and Southern charm. As the business transitioned into a new Front Street storefront, they needed more than a menu update—they needed a brand refresh that matched their evolution and invited customers into a space of joy, connection, and community.
The challenge was to grow visibility, drive in-store traffic, and elevate the brand without losing the heart and warmth that made NPC special.
Our Strategy
Our Strategy
We began by identifying and amplifying the core story: NPC isn’t just a place to pick up food—it’s where people come to savor good moments. Everything from the font to the captions had to reflect that.
Key elements of the strategy:
-
Brand Story Development: Rewrote the NPC origin story to reflect both founders’ voices and draw in the customer emotionally.
-
Visual Identity Alignment: Designed social templates that match the atmosphere of the new space—light, airy, and full of personality.
-
Signature Series Launch:
-
“When You Visit Me This Week”—a recurring content series featuring time-lapse charcuterie, event transformations, and weekly highlights.
-
Cookbook Club Campaigns—monthly reels, sign-up promos, and curated captions to spotlight the club’s community magic.
-
-
Copywriting & Messaging: Created clever, heartwarming, and on-brand copy for sales, events, product launches, and seasonal menus.
-
FOMO-Driven Content Calendar: Designed weekly content that encourages people to walk in, not just scroll by.
